I was Billy Thompson's roommate at Clemson and was a good friend of his in both high school and college.I had lost contact with him after graduation from. Clemson. I was so sorry to hear about his recent death. I am the same age as Billy,71years young. I also knew his parents and his older brother. According to the obituary the are all dead. I am sure Billy will be leading the band in heaven as he was the drum major for Tiger Band at Clemson. I will.miss him. Arnold R. Fleek

I knew Billy since we were children. Good person. Reconnected with him through mutual friends a number of years ago.
