I first met Steve in 2nd grade at Ebenezer. We'd get in trouble for talking too much ! Glad we had time to reconnect later at our class reunions and class members getting together eating out once a month . Missed those times when Covid hit . He will be missed! Praying for comfort for his family .

Oh, my.  Since I heard of Steve’s passing, I have been hearing him sing “The Girl That I Marry”  in my head for days.  Sweet Mary Long put him on stage for our class play  and a musical career was born. Steve was truly one of our class characters (we have a lot of them!) and will be missed.  His mother was my Brownie Scout leader at Woodland Methodist church.  I still have the ceramic mug that we made.

Blessings on Steve and his siblings.

I too, am so glad that Steve was able to attend our 50th reunion.  I only knew Steve during our RHHS days and agree he was a unique and talented individual.  He truly traveled to the beat of a different drum and will be missed.  Rest in peace.  - Chuck Munn

Steve and I were in Mrs. Mayfield 's homeroom and History class our senior year. I always enjoyed his humor and stories!
He was such a good actor and musician! We became Facebook friends, and I found out that he lived near me. I took him to get his meds, to doctor appointments, and to get his covid vaccinations. We talked, laughed, and I listened to his stories and opinions. I will miss his sarcasm, dry humor, and
uniqueness. What a wonderful character who will be remembered by the class of 1968!

I was so sorry to hear about Steve.  I remember him as a nice, easy going guy during our days at Rock Hill High.  It was good seeing and catching up with him at the 50th class reunion.  Although we did not keep in touch after graduating from Rock Hill High, the thought of him would always bring a smile to my face.  Rest in peace my friend.
